Pictures of our new home

As promised, I cleaned up (a bit) and took some pictures so you can all see where we are currently living. It did not take me very long : )

Here is the view when you open our door:

The room at the end of the hall is our bedroom, the kids bathroom is to the left of ours, the bathroom is right before the hall carpet stops, just past the open door, and the rest of the apartment is across from the bathroom.
Speaking of the bathroom, here it is:
Nice and big!

Storage closet tucked behind the door

Missing the 6 drawers plus cupboard space in my old bathroom
Next stop, our room:

This is all of it!
We can't have our foot board on our bed or our drawers wouldn't open!
Tyson and Jori lucked out with the master bedroom:
Looking through the doorway

Tyson's "room". The

Play room, and a peek into Jori's "room"

Master bedroom closet or perfect bedroom for a 4 year old?

Jori's special things
 Now the living area.

This is the view from the hallway
The kitchen
The dining room
The living room

Finally, the spare room, which is right off of the living room. This is where we are storing all of the things we are planning to leave in Edgerton, take with us to South Africa or sell.

It's a mess in there and I really don't feel like tackling it today, or any day for that matter, but I'll have to get started at some point. I am currently missing 2 out of 3 pairs of Tyson's school pants and 2 harmonicas. I am not really that eager to find the harmonicas, but not knowing where they are is driving me nuts.

So that is it, our temporary home until we move into our temporary South African home. Sorry about the blurry pictures and the wonky spacing.

I love that you used the word wonky! I say it sometimes and get really funny looks! Looks great, can't wait to see it in person!

Looks good! Thanks for posting them so I can visualize where you are these next few months. :) Is your apartment door entrance inside rather than outside?? Like in a hotel?? I've never seen that before, that's kinda cool! Oh I love that Jori is sleeping in the closet- lol! Mollie would be ALL over that! :)

Jori actually said "This place is like a hotel" when my mom was here. I think it is too cold in the midwest to have apartments with outside doors. This way we are nice and (overly) toasty.

So many happenings while we were away!
Packing in or out is of the most draining things in life to do.
Thought it original to put the children in the master bedroom And each has their own 'room' too.

If you wanted the know- we came from the Cape and there it is so hot! Coming from there the heat here feels cool. The western parts coming from there to here had lots and lots of rain. So much so that the Karoo is green. Never in my life seen it before.
