It has been a beautiful week here in West Michigan. We have been enjoying temps in the 80's and even the 90's a couple days. We hauled out the slip and slide and the kids have been having a great time cooling off each day. I love this time of year in Michigan.
On Monday I finally took Tyson in to the doctor to have his leg x-rayed. He first got injured on May 10 and since then has been kind of limping, but not complaining of any pain. On Monday he fell, and it seemed like his leg had just given out on him, so it was time to deal with whatever was going on. The x-ray didn't show any problem, so this coming Wednesday Tyson will be having an MRI to check for possible ligament damage. He is WAY excited about this. We read an article about kids having MRI's online and it said to have them imagine it was a spaceship and he is all ready to blast off! So pray for Tyson that there isn't any major damage! Talk about feeling like a bad mom...
Tomorrow we are heading to Indiana for a wedding and then we'll be spending Sunday night at a hotel with an indoor water park. We have not told the kids yet and will probably not tell them until we arrive at the hotel : ) So please, don't spill the beans.
I do not think I have cooked anything this week. Our dinners have consisted of frozen pizza, quesadillas, hot dogs, bagels and one meal at Jimmy Johns. Tonight we are roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. It is just too hot and honestly, I am too lazy. I keep telling Darin I'll cook next week, but we'll see. I need to get some pancake mix in the house so I have that as another fall back meal...
That's about it for us. Hope you all (the 2 or 3 of you that actually read this) are doing well!

Thanks for coming to moms group! We enjoyed catching up a bit at lunch time. And by the way we have been doing the same for dinners. ;) Pancakes were last nights and tonight we have hot dogs!
I am glad we could come today. Tyson's favorite part ended up being Nessie... Go figure. Thanks for planning all the outings. We are looking forward to more fun Fridays!

You are a great Mom and don't put yourself down-the same to all the other young moms-we all feel at times we did not do all we could or the right things but God allows us to stumble so we depend on him. We NEVER too you guys to the doc unless you were dripping blood so do what has to be done now and think of all the prayers for all of you. You are all loved Jonna and friends. Mom
